This project was interesting to me because it started as a request for a business solution. The acceptance of the proposed solution resulted in a request for a strategic plan including a rebranding. The delivery of the strategic plan and design guide resulted in our being asked to partner with the company to help develop and deploy the solutions that my business partner and I had proposed. It's funny how those things work. 

The concept that we came up with that drove the rebranding was cooperative fundraising for K-12 education and Amazon Rainforest reforestation. 

The brand that I developed incorporates two dancing figures holding tree leafs in front of a globe. This is intended to represent not only the cooperative nature of the fundraising efforts, but also the children in the schools who would be doing the fundraising. The globe has South America clearly in view to represent the Brazilian rainforest that was being reforested. The type incorporates leafs as well and the tagline 'growing a brighter future' which points not only to the regrowth of the rainforest but also to the brighter future of education.
